Returning Company Property
On your final day of employment, all company-issued hardware must be returned to the IT department for decommissioning and secure wiping. This includes your laptop, power adapters, external monitors, employee badge, and any specialized peripherals like high-end headsets or webcams. If you are a local employee, please bring these items to the IT bar by 4:00 PM. For remote employees, IT will ship a prepaid, padded box to your home address one week before your departure. It is your responsibility to ensure all items are packed securely and dropped off at the designated courier. Failure to return high-value equipment may result in a delay of your final clearance and could lead to financial recovery actions per your employment contract.
Data Migration and Ownership
All data created during your employment is the property of the company. Before your last day, you must move all important project files and documentation from your personal OneDrive to a shared team SharePoint site or a departmental file share. This ensures that your team can continue the work without interruption after your departure. Once your account is deactivated, the IT department will only retain your mailbox and OneDrive data for 30 days. After this period, the data is permanently purged and cannot be recovered. We do not allow the transfer of corporate data to personal cloud storage or USB drives for security and compliance reasons; please consult your manager if you are unsure which files should be preserved.
