Your First Day Essentials

Welcome to the team! On your first day, you will be issued your primary work equipment, which typically includes a laptop, a charging cable, and your employee security badge. Your first task is to sign in using the temporary credentials provided by your manager. The system will immediately prompt you to create a new, secure password. Once you are logged in, your next priority is setting up Multifactor Authentication (MFA) on your mobile device. This is the 'gatekeeper' for all our corporate systems and must be completed before you can access email or Slack. If you encounter any issues during this initial setup, don't hesitate to visit the IT Help Bar for immediate assistance.

Completing Security Awareness Training

Security is everyone's responsibility at our company. Within your first three days, you must complete the 'Security Foundations' course on our internal learning portal. This training covers essential topics such as identifying phishing emails, handling sensitive data, and our 'Clean Desk' policy. Failure to complete this training in a timely manner may result in temporary suspension of your network access. We take these policies seriously to protect our clients' data and our corporate reputation. The course takes about 45 minutes and includes a short quiz at the end. Once finished, your completion status is automatically logged with the HR and IT departments.
