Enrollment Overview
To access corporate email, Slack, and internal apps on your personal mobile phone, you must enroll your device in our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. This is a mandatory security requirement that ensures any device holding company data meets our safety standards, such as having an active passcode, a recent operating system, and full disk encryption enabled. The enrollment process creates a secure 'container' on your phone that keeps work data entirely separate from your personal life. This process is self-service and typically takes about ten minutes to complete. By enrolling, you also gain the ability to use 'Single Sign On' for mobile versions of our workplace tools, making it easier to stay productive while on the move or working remotely.
Installation Steps for iOS and Android
First, download the 'Company Portal' app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Sign in with your full corporate email address and password. The app will guide you through a series of prompts to install a 'Management Profile.' On iOS, you will need to take an extra step: go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and manually 'Trust' the profile. On Android, the system will set up a 'Work Profile' indicated by a small briefcase icon on your work apps. Once the profile is active, you can download approved apps like Outlook and Teams from within the Company Portal app. Do not attempt to use the standard public versions of these apps for work, as they will be blocked by our security gateway until the MDM profile is detected.
